Biochemistry Laboratory

In the Biochemistry Laboratory of our hospital, tests are carried out with the most accurate methods, by considering the least mistakes as a basis, and by carrying out internal and external controls. The laboratory includes biochemistry, hematology, microbiology and endocrinology units.

It works with state-of-the-art auto analyzers with parameters covering proteins, lipids, enzymes, electrolytes, coagulation tests, thyroid, androgens, estrogens, tumor markers and hepatitis tests in urine, blood, brain, spinal fluid and other body fluids. The backups of the studied samples are kept in special storage units between 15 and 30 days and these samples are returned when needed.

Our patient records and results are kept systematically in a completely computer environment. The desired tests are read in the optical reader and prepared by the direct activation of the barcoding system. Since the tubes are barcoded, no errors are allowed. The tests prepared in this way are finalized as soon as possible and delivered to the necessary places.
